Urban
Joshua's focus in urban dance is on House and Breaking. This practice continuously informs his contemporary work and vice versa. He is active in the urban scene, attending dance jams, battles as well as having vast experience in urban dance shows. |
Contemporary
Joshua embodies a contemporary movement style that is very transitional. It works in close proximity to the body and on all levels. It is characterized by continuous spiraling movements interwoven with energetic spurs and fast rhythm changes, reminiscent of stylistic elements in House and Breaking. Joshua's performance experience ranges from work created for stage to site specific installations. Most recently, Joshua performed in an installation performance choreographed by Ingri Fiksdal as a part of 'Fest en fest' at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London. |
